Within the framework of the fifteenth Industrial Congress, the four-day event that seeks to learn and strengthen the industrial sector in the country, the organizer, the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala, closed with a posthumous tribute to Isabel Gutiérrez de Bosch.
“We want to recognize a great woman who taught us to lead and change the history of the country’s industry from the heart.” With these words, Javier Zepeda, executive director of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala presented a video tour of the history of Doña Isabelita, as well as of her achievements, values and the invaluable contributions of her social work legacy.
Following this, Cristina Díaz, executive director of the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation, spoke about the life of Doña Isabel, her tireless work as a businesswoman and her leadership at the head of the foundation.
“If we are able to continue with Doña Isabelita’s legacy of chaing livesand of service to others, we are certain to positively change our country”,said Javier Zepeda in closing, after presenting a recognition which was received by members of the Bosch Gutiérrez family.
