The Isabel Gutiérrez de Bosch Foundation organized a symposium to address and strengthen early childhood development, and to promote comprehensive actions based on existing projects to combat child malnutrition in the country.
Saskia Bunge, medical advisor to the Foundation, indicated that they want to address the pillars of: importance of health, nutrition, early stimulation from the mother’s womb, safety and protection, to achieve a real change for children.
The organization seeks to build synergy between existing projects to eradicate malnutrition in the country, and thus identify the areas that most need to be treated.
Isabel Gutiérrez de Bosch, founder and president of the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation, explained that they seek to address early childhood with comprehensive interventions and cultural relevance.
In addition, Anaité Hernández, director of the Isabel Gutiérrez de Bosch Foundation, explained that they seek to work with the five pillars of health with multisectoral efforts, so that the work is, at the same time, carried out with unity and with cooperation to identify the needs of each place.
